Welcome Summer Story Fun

The Storytent was a shady haven of imagination for children and parents once again at this year’s Mullum Music Festival.

And what a lovely way to welcome Summer story fun amidst great music and a wonderful community event. For those of you who haven’t yet visited Mullumbimby, MMF weekend is the perfect introduction.

The entire town is completely transformed into one big community festival woven together by the magic bus, a double decker psychedelic barrel of fun that weaves its way between the many venues and absolutely dazzling musical talent.

This year the Storytent was perfectly placed amidst a sea of free family entertainment and tasty treats, providing a little oasis for parents to relax while I sang the children songs and spun Summer kids stories.

We even managed to sneak in a surprise act this year with my dear friend and juggling extraordinaire Joel Salom lending some percussive juggling beats to one of the tracks from my Summer collection of stories & songs for children, Jump In.

Something good is coming in the way of a long lazy Summer of fun in Australia – enjoy!
